Is is possible that a network with more than 600 million people and valuation at more than 25 billion simply close down? No way its not gonna be that easy even if Mark wants it so. I think what again applies here is the phrase " too big to fall". It has gone out of proportion. This rumored are either spread by its counterparts or somebody has seriously gone mad.
Recently a message was circulated which was being projected as if to come form the owner. The message said if you do not use the profile for more than two week, it will be closed down.
But no matter what it is, Facebook has become integral part of our life and it would take another decade or new idea to replace it.
